| International participations of ERIC
|
In 2005 ERIC-Federation is represented in following pan European projects and working-groups: SERTI (Euroregional Project of European Commission), EFC – Experts Group (a European Commissions working group to harmonise electronic toll-systems on European roads), RTTI – working group (an experts group of European Commission under the roof of e-safety initiative of European Union, dealing with future developments in the field of Real Time Traffic Information), TMC-forum (a platform for authorisation and development of local TMC-codifications.
In addition to these permanent representations ERIC-Federation will be represented at this years ITS-conferences and –congresses in Hannover, Germany (ITS-Europe), San Francisco (ITS-World) and Vienna (ITSC).

| ERIC's involvement in a pan European project
|
Since September 2004 ERIC-Federation is responsible for the management of so called TrafficEuroService.com – web-platform, a project of Euro-regional Projects of European Commission, DGTREN. Main focus of this project is to develop and establish a link-platform with linked connections to existing Traffic- and Travel-information services on the web all over Europe. The first visible results of this development should be available in summer 2005. The database should contain more than 100 links to TTI-web-services and more than 250 links to live-traffic-webcams on European roads.

| ERIC General Assembly 2005
|
| The next General Assembly of ERIC will take place in November 2005 in Budapest, Hungary. The exact date will be decided till end of August 2005, invitations will be distributed till mid of October 2005 latest.

| ERIC at ITS-Europe
|
ERIC-Federation will be represented at ITS-Europe-Conference (1st till 3rd of June 2005, Hannover, Germany) through two presentations in technical sessions and the moderation of a special session. At the exhibition area information about ERIC-Federation will be available on the stand of software developer GEWI (Stand A27).

| ERIC Infomanager Day 2005
|
On 28th and 29th of April 33 operational managers from 18 national Traffic-Information-Center participated ERIC-Infomanager-Day in Munich, Germany, at Headquarter of ADAC (German Automobile Club). ERIC-Infomanager-Day is a yearly organised workshop for the exchange of experiences in the field of Traffic- and Travel-Information. Main items of the workshop were operational details of the work with data-exchange-system ERIC3000, the future strategy of ERIC-Federation and the quality of traffic-data all over Europe. An initial presentation was dealing with the future pan European developments in this working area.
