Events and International Activities

Year by year ERIC is represented on ITS-congresses all over the world. For example in Berlin (2000), Lyon (2001), Chicago (2002), Madrid (2003) and Budapest (2004) with presentations in expert-sessions and exhibitions.

Every year ERIC-operational management organises at minimum one general workshop for leading info-managers of membering organisations with experts-presentation and information about new developments in the worlds of traffic-information.

Once per year ERIC-Board invites the members of the federation to a General Assembly, where basic items of the federation are discussed and decided.

ERIC-responsibles take part at so called RTTI-Working Group under the roof of European commission and the e-safety program for recommendations to EC for an efficiant information flow on European roads.

ERIC participates the steering board of European Regional Projects(so called Euroregional Projects), for example SERTI, ARTS.
